What to Include With Your Wedding Invitations

We've got what you need. And More.

Curious about what goes in your invitations? Need ideas on add-ons that make it truly yours? Practical pieces or the "just got to have it", we've got you covered.

Invitation Card

The invitation lists all of the important details — the couple's names, wedding date, time and ceremony location. Check out our wedding invitation wording guide for all the details.

Response Card

Also known as your r.s.v.p card. This card is traditionally provided for your guests to fill and mail back their response to you. Today, you can give them digital options like an email or website. Or, have fun and give them all the options.

Whichever method you choose, make sure to get the response envelope if you'd like the mail-back option!

Small Enclosure Card

The Small Enclosure card is typically used as a reception info card. If you did not provide details of your reception on the main invitation card, you will want to give the location and time of the event on this card.

You can also use this card to provide your website address, registry info or other small bits of information for your guests.

Large Enclosure Card

This card can be used for any info you'd like to share with your guests, but is commonly used to list pre-booked accommodations for out of town guests, directions or parking information.

Other uses include additional events like tea ceremonies, mehndi/sangeet, rehearsal dinners or if you just need more room than our small enclosure card.

Belly Band

The belly band is used to keep all your cards together. Depending on the invitation set, you will have an option to match your invitation graphics or a personalized monogram with your initials or names/date.

Belly Bands come pre-creased ready for you to assemble around your invitation set. We also include a double-sided adhesive roller for you to quickly glue them.

Assembled Set

All of our invitation sets come flat packed ready for you to assemble and stuff into the pockets and envelopes.

The only piece that requires some extra assembly will be the gluing of your belly bands as you assemble. Otherwise, grab your bridesmaids and groomsmen, buy a pizza and get that assembly line going.

The Envelope Details

The final touch before delivery. In a digital age, receiving that special envelope in the mail lets your guests know you're throwing a party for the ages. You will typically need the Invitation Envelope and , if you're doing a mail-back response card, the Response Envelope.

Invitation & Response Envelope

Single envelopes are our standard envelope option. The mailing address and names of all invited guests go on the front of the envelope.

The optional do-it-yourself envelope liner can be customized in any pattern and colour.

Invitation Styles

The standard invitation set still not giving you the pop you need? Choose from our premium invitation styles that will make your heart sing.

Layered Card

We layer your invitation card onto another card to give your invitation a nice border as well as some extra thickness. Choose from a variety of colours that can match your envelopes and belly band as well!

Layered Card with Pocket

Similar to our 'Layered Card' - this card comes with a pocket on the back that you can insert your response and enclosure cards into.

Folded Pocket

Open the card to reveal your invitation card on the left and a pocket on the right with all your response and enclosure cards.

We recommend using a belly band to hold the card shut.

Tri-Fold Pocket

This style has three panels once opened with the middle panel having your invitation card front and centre, a pocket on the right side for your response and enclosure cards.

We recommend using a belly band to hold the card shut.
